MSP360
Use a Zata bucket as backup storage in the MSP360 Managed Backup console.
MSP360 Managed Backup (formerly CloudBerry) backs up servers and workstations from one web console. You add Zata as an S3 Compatible storage account, and your backup plans can then store data in a Zata bucket.
Looking for the desktop file manager CloudBerry Explorer? See CloudBerry Explorer.
Before you start
- A bucket for the backups. See Create a bucket.
- An access key from the same region as the bucket. See Access keys.
- An MSP360 Managed Backup account.

In the MSP360 console, open Backup → Storage Accounts and click Add Account.
In the Add Cloud Storage Wizard, select S3 Compatible and click Next.
Enter a Display Name, for example Zata, and fill in the other fields from the table above. Click Next.
Enter a Display Name for the backup destination. Under Bucket, choose Select Existing and pick your bucket, or Create New and enter a new bucket name. Click Next.
Tick the companies that may use this storage and click Next.
Check the details in Preview and click Save. The account now appears in the Storage Accounts list.
Test it
On a computer with the MSP360 backup agent, back up a small folder to the Zata destination. Check that the data appears in your bucket in the Zata console, then restore the folder to confirm the backup can be recovered.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| The wizard cannot connect | Check that HTTPS endpoint is only the host name (idr01.zata.ai or bom01.zata.ai) and matches the region of the key. |
| Access denied or invalid credentials | Copy the keys again from Access Keys, without extra spaces. |
| Create New fails | A sub-user's key cannot create buckets. Create the bucket in the Zata console, then choose Select Existing. |
For other errors, see Signature errors and Access denied.
