# Create a new access key and secret key for the specific subuser.

{% hint style="info" %}
Remember that when a user is created, an access key is automatically generated in the **Access Keys** section. However, this access key cannot be used to access the user directly.

To access the user, you must create a new access key and secret key for the same user.
{% endhint %}

* Navigate to the **Access Keys** section from the dashboard.
* Click on **Generate Key**.
* Select the required **Subuser** from the list.
* Click on **Generate Key** to create a new access key and secret key.

After generation, a key file will be provided for download.

{% hint style="info" %}
As soon as you generate the access key, the key file is automatically downloaded. This file contains both the **Access Key** and the **Secret Key**.
{% endhint %}

Now that the subuser keys have been generated, use these Access Key and Secret Key to authenticate and access the user.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.zata.ai/subusers/create-a-new-access-key-and-secret-key-for-the-specific-subuser..md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
