Billing

Zata.ai follows a Prepaid Billing model, where users purchase storage in advance. This ensures cost transparency, better control over usage, and eliminates unexpected charges. Users can easily plan their expenses and scale their storage as requirements grow.

Key Points:

  • Billing Cycle: The billing cycle starts from the date of purchase and remains valid for the selected duration, such as monthly or yearly.

  • Storage Upgrades: Storage can be upgraded anytime after 48 hours from the initial purchase or the last upgrade. When an upgrade is made, a new billing cycle starts from the upgrade date, and the remaining balance of the previous plan is adjusted automatically.

  • Transaction Gap: A 48-hour gap is maintained between consecutive upgrades to avoid billing inconsistencies.

  • No Downgrade During Billing Cycle: Once a storage plan is upgraded, it cannot be downgraded within the same billing cycle.

  • Plan Renewal Window: Users can renew their current plan starting 5 days before the end of the billing cycle. Regardless of whether renewal is done 3, 4, or 5 days earlier, the next billing cycle will begin immediately after the current cycle ends.

  • Account Suspension on Non-Renewal: If the plan is not renewed before the billing cycle ends, the account and related services will be suspended until renewal is completed.

This billing system ensures predictable costs, smooth upgrades, and uninterrupted service continuity.

Repeated Payment Defaults: Customers who repeatedly miss renewal deadlines or default on payments may have their accounts subject to further limitations or suspension at Zata.ai’s discretion. Restoration of service may require settlement of all outstanding dues and could involve additional verification steps.
