Connect Commvault Backup with ZATA.AI
Steps to Connect Zata.ai S3 Storage with Commvault:
1. Create an S3 Bucket in Zata.ai:
Log in to your Zata.ai Console.
Navigate to the Bucket.
Click on "Create bucket" and follow the prompts to set up your bucket.
3. Generate Access Keys:
In the Zata.ai Console, go to the Access key.
Generate access keys, which will be used in Commvault for authentication.
4. Configure Commvault to Use S3 Storage:
Log in to your Commvault Command Center.
Navigate to the
Storage
tab.Add a new cloud storage library and select S3-compatible storage as the storage type.
Enter the S3 bucket details, access key, and secret key obtained from Zata.ai.
5. Define Storage Policies:
In Commvault, create or modify storage policies to use the S3 storage library you just configured.
Define the backup and retention policies according to your requirements.
6. Run Backup Jobs:
Set up and run backup jobs, ensuring they are directed to the S3 storage.
