Connect Arq Backup with Zata.ai
Arq backs up your files to the cloud automatically and safeguards your digital privacy. Zata’s object storage (S3-compatible) can be used as a secure storage backend for Arq.

Step-by-Step Configuration
1. Launch Arq and Create Backup Plan
Open Arq Backup.
Click Create a Backup Plan in the initial dashboard.

2. Add Zata as a Storage Location
When asked "Where should Arq store the backup data?", click Add Storage Location...

3. Select S3-Compatible Server
In the "Add a Storage Location" dialog, select S3-Compatible Server and click Continue.

4. Enter Zata S3 Credentials
Fill in the following details:
Server URL:
https://idr01.zata.ai:443
Region:
central India
Access Key ID and Secret Access Key from your Zata account
Bucket Name: (e.g., your chosen bucket like
abhatest
)
Click Save to confirm.

5. Confirm Zata Endpoint and Bucket
In the "Create Backup Plan" dialog, confirm the Zata endpoint (
https://idr01.zata.ai
).

6. Set Encryption Password
Choose a strong password for encrypting backups.
Enter and confirm it; this secures your backed up data.

7. Select Files to Back Up
Choose one of the options:
Back up all drives, with standard exclusions
Back up user data on the main drive
Manually select folders
Click Create Backup Plan to begin.
