Connect qBackup with Zata.ai
qBackup is validated for use with Zata.ai Object Storage. This guide explains how to configure qBackup to back up your files to Zata.ai.
Prerequisites
To download qBackup and install it, follow this link.

Create a New Project in qBackup
Launch qBackup.
Go to File > New Project.
Enter a project name (e.g.,
ZataBackup
).

Add Backup Sources
In the Include tab, add the files and folders you want to back up.
In the Exclude tab, define any files or folders you do not want to back up.

Configure Storage (Zata.ai)
Go to the Storage tab.
Select S3 Compatible Storage.
Choose Use Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.
Enter your credentials:
Access Key ID:
<your Zata Access Key>
Secret Access Key:
<your Zata Secret Key>
Endpoint: https://idr01.zata.ai
Bucket name:
<your bucket name>
Recommendation: Create a fresh bucket or dedicated folder for qBackup jobs to avoid "Storage is not empty" errors.

Schedule (Optional)
Navigate to the Maintenance tab.
Configure a schedule for automated backups:
Daily
Weekly
Custom frequency
Run the Backup
Save the project.
From the main screen, select your project.
Click Backup to start the process.
