Connect Forklift with Zata.ai

ForkLift for macOS

ForkLift is a powerful file manager and FTP client for macOS, offering a dual-pane interface, advanced file operations, and integration with various cloud services.

Prerequisites

Zata.ai Bucket - Bucket Create Guide.

Access and Secret Key Pair - Access Key Guide.

Installation

1. Download ForkLift from the official website.

2. Open the downloaded .dmg file.

3. Drag ForkLift to the Applications folder.

4. Launch ForkLift from the Applications folder.

Set Up from Scratch with Zata.ai

After downloading and installing Forklift, open the application and begin the configuration process.

Launch Forklift on your Mac.

In the top menu bar, click Go → Connect.

Configure the AWS S3 connection

In the Connect window

• Protocol: Select Amazon S3

• Server: Enter idr01.zata.ai (Central India region)

• Username: Enter your Zata Access Key ID

• Password: Enter your Zata Secret Access Key

Now click on the connect.

Browse Your Buckets

• Once connected, your available buckets on Zata will be displayed.

• You can drag and drop files between Finder/Forklift and your Zata storage.

• Use Forklift’s dual-pane view to easily transfer files to and from Zata.
