Connect ExpanDrive with Zata.ai
ExpanDrive can be configured to connect with Zata.ai Object Storage, allowing you to mount Zata buckets as network drives and access them seamlessly from Finder (macOS) or Explorer (Windows).
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to set up ExpanDrive with Zata.ai.

1: Launch ExpanDrive
Open the ExpanDrive application.
Click New Connection.

2: Select Connection Type
For versions v7 and later → choose Amazon S3.
If you are using a version prior to v7 → also choose Amazon S3.

3: Enter Zata.ai Details
Fill in the following fields:
Server / Endpoint:
https://idr01.zata.ai
(replace with your assigned region endpoint if different)Access Key ID: enter your Zata.ai access key
Secret Access Key: enter your Zata.ai secret key
Bucket (optional): enter the bucket name if you want to connect directly to a specific bucket.
Leave blank if you want to browse all buckets.

4: Save and Connect
Click Save.
ExpanDrive will mount your Zata.ai storage as a network drive.
You can now access your Zata.ai bucket directly from Finder (macOS) or Explorer (Windows).

Notes
For ExpanDrive Server Edition, always select the Amazon S3 connection type.
Use the correct Zata.ai endpoint for your region.
Works seamlessly across both Windows and macOS.
Once connected, you can drag, drop, upload, and manage files on Zata.ai just like a local drive.
