Connect Syncovery with zata.ai

Syncovery is a powerful backup and synchronization software for Windows, macOS, Linux, and others. It can be used to back up and sync files to Zata.ai Object Storage (S3-compatible) for secure and scalable cloud storage.

This guide provides step-by-step instructions to configure Syncovery with Zata.ai.

Prerequisites

To download Syncovery and install it, follow this link.

Launch Syncovery and Create a New Profile

Open Syncovery.

From the top menu, click on Perform a Synchronization or Backup now,

Select Source

Choose the local folder on your system that you want to back up or sync.

Select Destination (Zata.ai Storage)

Choose S3 as the storage type.

In the S3 settings window:

• Access Key ID: Enter your Zata.ai Access Key.

• Secret Access Key: Enter your Zata.ai Secret Key.

• S3 Endpoint: https://idr01.zata.ai

• Bucket : [email protected]

Click OK.

Configure Profile Settings

• Set your preferred options for:

  • Scheduling (daily, weekly, real-time sync).

• Click Save.

Run the Backup/Sync

1. Select your newly created profile.

2. Click Run Profile to start uploading files to Zata.ai.

3. Monitor the job log to ensure files are transferred successfully.
